The suggestions from this tool will not be perfect. There are many factors that affect how wax behaves when heated, so please treat this as a tool that guides rather than a tool that guarantees.

Fragrance load percentage:

Percentage of fragrance oil used per candle. If you wanted to have a fragrance load percentage of 10% you'd enter 10. Candlescience has a good article on determining this ratio.

Number of candles:

Quantity of candles you expect to make. Usually this will be 1; unless you are making a large batch of one fragrance composition (i.e. "I have an order of 10 strawberry candles").

Vessel size:

Unit of candle in oz. You'd enter 8 if you were making 8oz candles.

Wax density:

The density of the wax you intend to use. Examples are 0.9 g/mL for Soy wax, 0.951 g/mL for Beeswax, and 0.911 g/mL for Paraffin. The soy setting will be used if not filled in.

Candle name:

The name of your candle (i.e. Lavender & Vanilla, or Forest).

Fragrance name:

The scent you intend your candle to have (i.e. Strawberry).
